Carol Jones

Carol Ann Jones, age 73, of Frankfort Street, NY, died Wednesday, May 10, 2007, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Oswego, New York and the daughter of the late William and Nellie Salisbury Swartfigure. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Robert Cooley who died in 1975; her second husband, Donald Jones who died in 1982; and two sisters Jean Bittener and Dora Tulleck. She was a self-employed caregiver to the elderly. Carol enjoyed quilting and knitting. She is survived by three sons, Shannon Jones of Herkimer, NY; Kevin Cooley and his wife, Becky, of Canton and Keith Cooley of Candler; a sister, Linda Miller and her husband, Don, of Apoaka, FL; two brothers, Roger Swartfigure and William Swartfigure, Jr., both of NY; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
