Carol Hall-Fisgus

Carol Hall-Fisgus, 77, of Candler, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. She was born in Asheville on March 24, 1939 to the late Hoyte Moore Smith and Myrtle Dillingham Smith. Carol was a member of Oak Forest Presbyterian Church and had been an educator in the Buncombe County School System for over 30 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L. Leon Hall.
She is survived by her husband, C. Wayne Fisgus; sons, Ken and Brad Bailey and Tadd Hall; step-children, Bryan, David, Kevin, Kenneth Hall and David and Michael Fisgus, and Lori Elliott; sisters, Una Mullis and Billie Davis; brother, Larry Smith; 14 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 5 step-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Oak Forest Presbyterian Church, Candler. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary
