Calvin Jennings Rogers, born on May 16, 1953, in Haywood County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Autumn Care of Waynesville. Calvin lived a life characterized by hard work and dedication, proudly contributing his skills at Champion International and Evergreen Packaging throughout his career.

He was the loving husband of Ruth Treadway Rogers, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. Calvin is also survived by his son, Cameron Rogers of Canton, who carries on his father's legacy with pride. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Carol Rogers Thomas (Ken) of Bethel, adding to the close-knit bonds of family that Calvin cherished throughout his life.

Calvin was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Robyn Rogers, who left this world far too soon in 1993. His parents, Eugene and Jencie Wright Rogers, along with his sister, Barbara Baity, also predeceased him, leaving a lasting impact on his life.

A graveside service to honor Calvin's memory will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Old Thickety Cemetery in Clyde, North Carolina. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a man who was deeply loved and admired.

Calvin Jennings Rogers will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and his contributions throughout his life. He leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to warm the hearts of those who knew him.
