Brian Bradley

Cashiers / Maggie Valley, Brian "Homer" Bradley, age 48, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A lifelong resident of North Carolina, he was the only son of James and Martha Caldwell Bradley.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Faye Bradley and maternal grandparents, John Caldwell and Burdell Wells Caldwell.

Brian defied all odds and obstacles in his way and bravely battled serious health issues his entire life.  A 1994 graduate of Tuscola High School, he was a proud member of Cashiers Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, and the beauty of the outdoors.  He was especially fond of shark fishing.  Brian lived life to the fullest and made wonderful memories.

Brian is survived by his devoted parents, James and Martha Bradley; Aunt Geraldine Robinson (Sam); Uncle J.C. Caldwell (Helen); cousins, Chrystal McClure, Robin Beagle (Tony) Jody Caldwell, and Jason Caldwell; special friends, Steve and Debbie Foster; and fur babies, Ellie and Daisy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Cashiers Baptist Church with Reverend Heyward Tomblin officiating.  Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Waynesville.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
