Brent Turner

Clyde, Brent Turner, 66, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation.

A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Calhoun Turner.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Turner.

Brent retired as a supervisor from Dayco Corporation in 2003 with 35 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing and Florida State Seminoles football.

Brent is survived by his daughter, Leslie Clark and her husband, Shannon, of Clyde; son, Chris Turner and his wife, Laura, of Clyde; sister, Janet Sawyer of Asheville; and brother, Steve Turner of Arden; 11 grandchildren, Brooke, Brent, Benjamin, Blakely, Baylee and Brittyn Turner, Alex Marler, Brayden and Kennedy Monday, and Ellis and Jesse Clark; and his dog, Taz, who was his best friend.
