Bobby Caldwell

Orange Park, Florida – Bobby Lee Caldwell, age 71, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Memorial Mission Campus in Asheville, NC. A native of Pyriton, Alabama, he was the son of the late Eldred Franklin and Ora Lee Moore Caldwell and was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Wanda Kathryn Caldwell. Bobby graduated from the Sunset School of Preaching and was employed by NCR as a parts specialist. He loved music, watching football, and reading and was a member of Argyle Church of Christ, Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, LaVonta McGuyrt Caldwell; a daughter, Luella Kathryn Caldwell, of Covington, Louisiana; four brothers, Frank (Barbara) Caldwell, Marvin (Aleta) Caldwell, Charles (Dot) Caldwell, and Gail (Jan) Caldwell; a half-sister, Janice Ammons (Wylie); and two grandchildren, Lorelai Juliet Caldwell-Dean and Cole Austin Williams. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Argyle Church of Christ with Minister Kenneth Mick and Minister Charles Klein officiating.
