Bobby Butler

Alexander-Bobby Joe Butler, age 27, died August 1, 2004 at his residence. A native of Waterloo, Iowa, he was the son of Ted Robert Butler of York, SC and the late Leslie Hendrix Butler. He worked in construction as a pipe layer. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and playing pool. In addition to his father, he is survived by a daughter, Maykala Butler, of Waynesville; four sisters, Michelle Frizzell and her husband, Randy, of Waynesville, Rebecca McLean of Alexander, NC, Kim Helms and her husband, Jerry, of York, SC and Susie Butler, of Gastonia, NC; a brother, Clay Butler, of Asheville; and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Grigg, of Clyde. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Kerry Ohiser officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
