Bobbie Naeomi Bradford, 81, born on January 30, 1944, in Knox, TN, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2025, at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.
Throughout her years, Bobbie was known for her unwavering work ethic and her commitment to both her family and community.
She was a loving mother to her daughters, Catherine Lunsford (Bobby) and Linda Ledford, and her sons, Marty Bradford (Kathy) and Keith Bradford. Bobbie took great pride in her role as a grandmother, nurturing her grandchildren Trulena Sartin (Ricky), Tiffany Effler (Brandon), Amanda Herron, Jessica Bradford, Joseph Bradford, Travis Bradford, Scott Mashburn, David Ledford, Paula Stamey, Jacob Bradford, Eathan Bradford, and Alex Evans. Her legacy extends to her beloved great-grandchildren, Logan, Bradley, Dakota, Colby, Lexi, Baylee, Chole, Johnathan, Christian, Victoria, and her special great-grandson, Payton Effler. Bobbie is also survived by her sisters Judy Halls and Betty Payne, and her brothers Woody Davis (Anita) and Ronnie Page (Ressa).
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 20 years, Harvey Bradford, and her parents Glenmoore and Marie Stooksbury of Knoxville, TN. Bobbie had also mourned the loss of her sisters Ramona Stepp, Nancy Bumgardner, Emily Mintz, and Anna Ruth Davis, as well as her brother Stan Stooksbury.
Bobbie's proudest accomplishments included being a co-owner of a restaurant and being a service to others. Her generous heart and hard-working nature left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to CarePartners Hospice Solace Center of Asheville, especially to Nick, and to the staff at Aston Park for their compassionate care during Bobbie's final days. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who cherished her memory and spirit.
The care of Bobbie Bradford has been entrusted by family to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
