Blanche Greene

Canton – Blanche Mann Greene, 93, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

Blanche was a native of Clay County but had lived in Haywood County since 1949 and was a daughter of the late Ray and Elsie Hall Mann.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Greene, who died in 2022; a sister, Mae Nix; and brother, Howard Mann.  Blanche was a member of High Street Baptist Church. She loved to cook and share her cakes and pies with friends and family.  Blanche also liked to work in her flower garden.

She is survived by a daughter, Molly Greene Ingle (Jack) of Canton and a sister, Betty Jo Mashburn of New Middletown, Ohio; and nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at High Street Baptist Church with the Reverend Christopher Willett officiating.  Burial will be held at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

The care of Mrs. Greene has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Canton.
