Billy Keller

Waynesville, Billy Ray "Jack" Keller, Sr., 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Kannapolis, NC, he was the son of the late Albert George and Helen Plyler Keller. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Herrarah and a brother, Cecil George Keller. Jack owned Keller Cooling and Jack's Leather Shop and was a veteran of the United States Army. Jack loved to work. Jack is survived by one daughter, Linda K. Brown, and her husband, Charles, of China Grove; one son, Billy Keller, Jr., and his wife, Tania, of Waynesville; one brother, Jim Keller, and his wife, Becky, of Kannapolis; two daughters, Shelia Lain, of Canton and Bobbie Bradley, and her husband, Adam, of Waynesville; a girlfriend, Linda Gentry, of Waynesville; and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jake Cagle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
