Betty Turbyfill

Betty Galloway Turbyfill, 86, of Asheville died on Friday, August 19, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Turbyfill in 2016; son, Michael Maltry and great-granddaughter, Kayla Hensley.

She attended Woodland Terrace Baptist Church when she was able to go.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Fowler and her husband, Billy, Danny Maltry and his wife, Wanda, Randy Maltry and his wife, Sandra and David Maltry and his wife, Carolyn; daughter-in-law, Lisa Maltry; Adopted son, Roger Mathis and his wife Annette and daughter Lilly; thirteen grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren,

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in the Wells Chapel of Faith, 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The care of Mrs. Turbyfill has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
