Betty Sellers

Canton – Betty Clark Sellers, 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Mission Memorial Campus.

Betty was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a daughter of the late James Issac and Eva Nelson Clark.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester A. Sellers, who died in 2006; three brothers, one sister, three half-brothers, and one half-sister.

Betty was a wonderful homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.  She attended Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Baron “Rocky” Sellers and wife, Elaine, of Cruso; one sister, Dorothy “Dot” Carter of Canton; two grandchildren, Brandan Sellers and Stephanie Warren and husband, Travis, all of Cruso; and four great-grandchildren, Lily, Tyler, Carsen, and Gracen.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at New Cruso Cemetery with the Reverend Jeremy Cagle officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
