Betty Everett

Betty Jo Whitfield Everett, age 77, of Old US 19/23 Hwy., laid to rest Friday, October 26, 2007, at the St. Joseph campus of Mission Hospital. She was a native of Dayton, TN and was the daughter of the late Fred and Hester Wilkey Whitfield. She was preceded in death by a son, Toby Everett, who died in 1997. Betty enjoyed playing Bingo and spending quality time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joe Everett; two daughters, Avis Klusman and her husband, George, of Asheville, and Janice Burt and her husband, Gary, of Battle Creek, MI; a son, Randy Everett and his wife, Diana, of Dayton, TN; a brother, Woody Whitfield and his wife, Janice, of Spring City, TN; 6 grandchildren, Tammy Munoz, Moran Severson, Scott Misner, Brandi Lawerence, Crystal Klusman and Brittany Everett; and 5 great grandchildren, Logan Misner, Ashley Misner, Alexus Heath, Austin Severson and Brandalyn Mills. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Canton with the Reverend Dr. Jackie Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
