Berdell Singleton

Candler – Berdell Elliott Singleton, age 94, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Asheville Nursing and Rehab Center. A native of Snohomish County, Washington, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Elliott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Claude Singleton, who died in 1983; four sisters; one brother; one granddaughter; and one grandson. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Singleton Canipe (Steve) and Kay Singleton Booher (Randy), all of Candler; three sons, Reverend Warren Elliott (Thelma), of Columbus; Doug Singleton and James Singleton, both of Leicester; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at Woodland Terrace Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Marc Penley, Reverend Dean Elliott, and Reverend Warren Elliott officiating.
