Benjamin Brown

Waynesville, NC-Benjamin Earl Brown, age 70, of Chesnut Park Drive, formerly of Dade City, Florida, died Friday morning, March 28, 2003.

A native of Haywood County, NC, he was the son of the late Thurman and Carrie Robinson Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Macie Treadway Brown who died in 1982; two brothers, Hillard Sandford and Eugene Brown; two sisters, Hazel Wease and Hernie Norris; and a grandson, David Brown. He was retired from the State of Florida Corrections Department. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by three daughters, Wendy Chambers and Carrie Jeanine Fugate both of Waynesville, NC, and Cheryl Barnett of Zephyrhills, Florida; two sons, Daryl J. Brown of Denver, Colorado and Benjamin Brown, Jr. of Dade City, Florida; a brother, Robert Sanford of Canton; 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.
