Beaulah Troutman

Waynesville, Beaulah Mae Mauney Troutman, age 87, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Allen and Arleva Wright Mauney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Troutman, Sr.; son Ted Troutman, Jr.; and a sister Henrietta Mauney. Beaulah previously resided in Tullahoma, Tennessee and she was the secretary at Wesley Heights United Methodist Church. Beaulah returned to Haywood County in 2007. She will be remembered as a very sweet lady who deeply loved her family. Beaulah gave the best hugs and always kept an upbeat attitude and positive outlook in the face of challenges. Beaulah is survived by two sisters-in-law; Pat Sanford, of Waynesville and Morine Hopper, and her husband Tim, of Salisbury; three brothers-in-law, Bob Troutman, and his wife, Carmen, of Asheville, Mike Troutman, of Candler, and Larry Troutman, and his wife, Margaret, of Milbrook, Alabama; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Daniel Trantham officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haywood County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 931, Waynesville, NC 28786.
