Barbara Hickman

Clyde- Barbara Lee Hull Hickman, age 55, of Panther Creek Road, died Thursday, January 23, 2003.

She was a native of Riverdale, Maryland and had lived in Haywood County since 1970. She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Dorothy Zoellner Hull, a son, Josh Hickman and a brother Timothy Patrick Hull.

She was a member of Shepherd's Chapel. She was a lab technician with Hickman's Dental Lab for over 20 years and was presently employed by Haywood Vocational Opportunities (HVO).

She is survived by her father, Robert Lee Hull, of Waynesville; her husband of 38 years, Ed Hickman; two daughters, Dorothy Ann Burnette, of Franklin and Dawn Marie Kuykendall, of Leicester; a son, Willie Hickman, of Waynesville; five sisters, Mary Gionson, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Georgene Arneson, of Oxon Hill, Maryland, Rebecca Willcox, of Sweet Home, Oregon, Helen Songer, of Garneill, Montana and Suzanne McClure, of Robbins, Tennessee; one brother, Robert Lee Hull, II, of Saint Leonard, Maryland; and six grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes. The Reverend Dr. W. T. Medlin, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the services, at the funeral home. The family will meet at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, following the services, at the Panther Creek Baptist Church for a meal and time of remembrance.
