Canton - Barbara Christopher Bradford, 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the evening of Wednesday, October 14, 2026, after an incredibly courageous battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Aldin and Georgia Christopher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie Christopher and Carol Lee Christopher; and her sister, Pamela Christopher.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amber Swanson (Jeff Sprinkle); her brother, Ray Christopher; her grandchildren, Savanna Akins (Josh Henderson), Christian Swanson (Ivan Tena), Michael Akins (Morgan Childers), Colby Akins, Daniel Gomez and Elijah Sprinkle; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Barbara strived to live a life that was larger than herself. She had the biggest heart and wouldn’t hesitate to do anything to help others. Her greatest love was spending as much time as she possibly could with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Barbara will have a visitation to celebrate her life from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at Wells Funeral Home of Canton on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

The care of Mrs. Bradford has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
