Barbara Rogers

Barbara Ann Robeson Rogers, 91, of Gastonia, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Born in Leicester, NC, Barbara grew up in Sandy Mush.  She was a daughter of the late James "Jack" Daniel and Vay Bridges Robeson.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jeffeory Nolan Rogers and a brother, Howard W. Robeson.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Rogers Pirrung and her husband, Stuart; grandsons, Jack Pirrung and Chris Pirrung and his wife, Katie Rose; siblings, James Robeson and his wife, Ruby Jo, Jeanette Lay, Richard Robeson and Gayle Robeson along with many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Wells Chapel of Faith.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara's name to Levine & Dickson Hospice House-Huntersville, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.

The care of Mrs. Rogers has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
