Arvil Phillips

Waynesville-Arvil Phillips, age 64, of 2451 Old Balsam Road, died Thursday, November 4, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late George Washington Phillips and Viola Romines Phillips. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Elbert Phillips. He is survived by a brother, Claude Phillips, and his wife, Rita, of Hot Springs, NC, Eugene Phillips of Clyde, and Arlie Phillips of the White Oak Community. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2004 in the Phillips Family Cemetery in Cosby, Tennessee with Reverend Greg Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 Noon prior to services at the funeral home. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
