Arthur Edward Frisbee

Hot Springs, Arthur Edward Frisbee, age 76, was called home on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He retired from the U.S Forestry Service where he worked for over 30 years.  Arthur enjoyed the outdoors and was a successful farmer, hunter, and fisherman.

A native of Haywood County, he was the youngest son of the late Lester and Annie Green Frisbee.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. Frisbee and Dale Rae Frisbee, and a sister, Margie Frisbee.

Arthur is survived by his sister, Lottie Frisbee Gregory of Hot Springs; his brother, J.B. Frisbee of Waynesville; sister-in-law, Linda Frisbee, and his two special cats that he cared for deeply.  Also left to treasure his memory are a host of dear nephews and nieces : nephews, Blane Gregory and Marty Frisbee (Emily); nieces, Brenda Gregory (David Cole) and Sandy Gouge (Jason); four great-nephews, Casey Balding, Elijah Gregory, Thomas Gouge, and Owen Frisbee; five great-nieces, Olivia McHone (Joshua), Addison Gregory, Morgan & Natalie Gouge, and Josie Frisbee; great-great-nephews, Brodie & Correy McHone; and great-great-niece, Khaley McHone.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Pruett officiating.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.  Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Poplar Gap Cemetery in Hot Springs with Reverend Jim Sutton officiating.

The care of Mr. Frisbee has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
