Anne G. Pace

Anne Geneva Pace, age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Asheville, North Carolina.

She is preceded in death by parents Ed and Martha Buchanan, six siblings, and her husband of 48 years, David Pace.  A doting mother with unshakable faith, Anne left an impression on all that she met. Anne will be missed. Her intelligence, wit, and humor were sources of insight and joy for all who knew her well.

Anne is survived by her sons, Greg, and his wife Tara, of Waynesville; Chad, of Orlando and Brad; and a brother Harry, of Candler; and five grandchildren Shelby, Michael, Raven, Montana and Brooklyn.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday March  4, 2019 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating.  Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank WNC Care Partners Hospice providers, as well as the staff at the John F. Keever Solace Center of Asheville, for making her transition one with dignity and peace.
