Funeral services for Ann E. Francis, 83, who passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009 will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Lake Murray Baptist Church, Lexington, SC. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. at the church. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Waynesville, NC. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charity of One's Choice. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is in charge of the arrangements in SC. Mrs. Francis was born in Waynesville, NC on November 7, 1925. She was a daughter of the late Clark L. Edmunds and Florence Rieger. Mrs. Francis was a member of Lake Murray Baptist Church and a former member of Foreman Memorial Baptist Church in New Ellenton, SC. Mrs. Francis is survived by her husband, Calvin Francis of Leesville, SC; daughter, Terry Turner of Lexington, SC; son, Stephen Francis of North Augusta, SC and grandson, Craig Francis of Aiken, SC.
