Allie Swanger

Waynesville, Mrs. Allie Fair Webb Swanger, 85, died December 7, 2010 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. Allie prayed every night that the Lord would answer her knock on the door and let her come home, her wish was finally granted after a courageous battle with cancer. A special acknowledgment of appreciation to caring family members and friends, and her neighbors on Boyd Avenue, whom she had shared her last 15 years with. Also, a heart felt thank you to the caring staff of Haywood Regional Home Health Services, Hospice and the Silver Bluff Nursing Home where she spent her last days. Alllie's wish was to be cremated and no formal services held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Haywood Regional Medical Center Hospice, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721 or Haywood County Meals on Wheels, 486 Marshall Street, Waynesville, NC 28786.
