Alice Curran

Alice ''Marcella'' Kunkle Curran 86, died Friday, January 24, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Evans Falls Pennsylvania, living in Murphy, NC and moving to Waynesville in 2002. She was the daughter of the late Simon and Bessie Keller Kunkle. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Francis Curran who died in 1986. She was a member of Belleview United Methodist Church in Murphy, member of VFW post # 7720 Auxiliary in Cornelia, GA. and she enjoyed Crafts.

Survivors: one son; Joseph Duane Curran and his wife Cindy of Waynesville; 5 grandchildren, Kevin, Guy, Jeremy, and Kim Curran and Dawn Lamb; 5 great grandchildren, Cassie, Kayla and Shawna Lamb and Joey and Nicholas Curran.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Murphy, NC.
