Alan Hermes

Sylva, Alan Scott Hermes, age 59, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020.

A native of Wisconsin, he was a son of the late, Richard and Karen Ruppel Hermes.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, James Kirkpatrick.

Alan is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kristi Hermes; brother, David Hermes (Kim), of Bryson City; sister-in-law, Peggy Kirkpatrick, of Sedro-Woolley, Washington; three brothers-in-law, Monty Kirkpatrick (Becky), of Sylva, Ronnie Hill (Linda), of North Pole, Alaska and Ronnie Styles (Debbie), of Bryson City.

Due to COVID-19 a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The care of Alan has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
