Alan Clements
September 4, 1956 — May 28, 2003
Waynesville-Alan Ray Clements, age 46, of 263 Aqua Vista Loop, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
A native of Lunenburg County, Virginia, he was the son of Betty Beale Clements of Hillsborough, NC and the late Robert Lee Clements. He was a disabled veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Grace Clements of Kenbridge, Virginia; two sisters, Connie Lee Clements, of Hurdle Mills, NC and Brenda Kay Aigner of Mebane, NC; a brother, Robert Edward Clements, of Rougemont, NC; and three nephews, Seth, Austin, and Lucas Clements.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2003 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2003 at the funeral home.
