ADA MORROW BRADSHAW

Waynesville-Ada Morrow Bradshaw, age 96, 99 Bradshaw Road died Tuesday morning, November 5, 2002 at her residence.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late William and Mattie Treadway Morrow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bradshaw who died in 1987; three brothers, Edgar, Vincent, and John Morrow; and one sister, Bonnie Clark. She was a school teacher and homemaker and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Sybil Crawford, and her husband, Don, Helen June Caldwell and her husband J.R., both of Waynesville; three sons, James Bradshaw and his wife, Joan, Grover Lee Bradshaw and his wife, Catherine, and Johnny Bradshaw and his wife, Barbara, all of Waynesville; two sisters, Mae Burr Davis of Waynesville and French Moore of Greeneville, TN; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2002 at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Taylor, Reverend Dr. W. T. Medlin, Jr., and Reverend Jarvis Teague officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff and Jody Bradshaw, Riyen Newell, Tim Hickman, Chris Elliott, Bill Valentine, B.J., Tommy, and Perry Morrow. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2002 at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services and at other times, the family will be at the home of Sybil Crawford, 34 Frank Davis Road, Waynesville.
