Walter Williams

Waynesville, Walter Frank "Bud" Williams, age 69, of 112 Andrew Lane, died on Monday, November 9, 2009 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Haywood County, he previously resided in Millville, New Jersey, and returned to Haywood County in 1993. "Bud" was the son of the late Walter and Pauline Goodson Williams and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Williams and Kenneth Goodson. He was a retired employee of West Company. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila Williams; three sons, Buddy Williams and his wife, Amber, of Murphy, Randy Brown of Japan, and Kenny Brown of Waynesville; one daughter, Melissa; a sister, Linda Smith and her husband, Bill, of Millville, NJ; and one brother, Gene Williams and his wife, Betty, also of Millville, NJ. Private family services will be held at a later date. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
