Todd McCracken 51 of Raleigh passed away Thursday April 2, 2015 after a brief illness at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Todd was a native of Haywood County NC and lived in Raleigh for the past 29 years. Todd was preceded in death by his father, Joe McCracken of Clyde NC and an infant brother, Gregory Wayne McCracken. Todd is survived by his Mother, Phyllis McCracken King, two brothers Keith McCracken of Clyde, Eric McCracken of Waynesville NC, and a niece he loved dearly Keisha McCracken also of Clyde. Todd was a 1982 graduate of Tuscola High School in Waynesville and also a 1986 graduate of UNC in Chapel Hill. Todd was a licensed CPA and Auditor and a 25 year employee with the NC Department of Revenue in Raleigh. Todd loved traveling with his wonderful and loyal friends and visited all states in the US and many international destinations and enjoyed cruises with his many friends. A celebration of Todd's life will be held Tuesday April 7th 2015 beginning at 6:00pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forrest Road in Raleigh with visitation beginning at 5:00pm at Bryan-Lee. An additional life celebration service will be held in Canton NC on Saturday April 11th, 2015 at Wells Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00pm with the family receiving friends immediately following the service. Todd lived his life to the fullest, loved his friends and was a true Southern Gentlemen to all that knew him. His family offers their deep appreciation to his many, many wonderful and devoted friends for their love and lasting support for Todd. Many thanks and genuine love also is expressed for the wonderful care from all Doctors, nurses and healthcare workers at Rex Hospital.
