Roy Trull

Canton- Roy Ray Trull, age 90, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Mr. Trull was a native of Haywood County and the son of the late George Homer and Loni Henson Trull. He was also preceded in death by his wife Eva Mae Cogburn Trull who died in 1993; four brothers and two sisters. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. Roy retired from Dayco as a millwright with 30 years service and was a member of East Fork Baptist Church. Roy was a member of the Pisgah Camping Club for many years, and loved to travel throughout the United States. He is survived by a son Charles Trull and his wife, Ninno, and one daughter, Zeda Stepp all of Canton; four grandchildren, Randy Trull, Kevin Stepp, Sandra Trull and Tim Stepp and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at East Fork Baptist Church with the Reverend Greg Cullen officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin, Tim and Josh Stepp, Randy Trull, Jimmy Helms and David Lincoln. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of arrangements.
