Randy Clayton

Clyde, Paul Randy Clayton, age 50, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at MedWest- Haywood. A native of Henderson County, he was the son of Minnie West Clayton of Waynesville and the late Ray Clayton. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Norman E. "Booger" Clayton. He was employed with Department of Social Services where he worked in Maintenance. Randy enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing throughout Western North Carolina. He also loved traveling and spending time with his fiancée, Angie. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancée, Angie Ledford; two daughters, Tiffany Clayton of Fayetteville, NC and Amber Clayton of Hendersonville, NC; four step-daughters, Diana Watson of Bethel, Melissa and Emily Ledford both of Clyde and Michayla Grace; two step-sons, Anthony Ledford of Clyde and Jason Grace; a sister, Norma Wright of Richmond, VA; a half-brother, Morris Ray Clayton, of Etowah, NC; and three grandchildren, Vinny Denomme, Braidon Lopez and Michael Perez. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Neal Roland officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
