Margaret Catherine "Peggy" Nichols, age 91, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Haywood Lodge and Retirement Center. A native of Iron Station, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John Nelson and Bertye Bynum Dorsey. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Haywood Lodge and Retirement Center. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haywood County Public Library: 678 S. Haywood Street, Waynesville, North Carolina 28786.
