Pat Carey

Clyde, Patrick Edward Carey, age 83, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at The Homestead. A native of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late William and Valdessa Kissel Carey. Pat was employed by the Railroad as an Engineer. He loved the Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Red Skins. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, JoAnne McGrain Carey; three daughters, Sue Hess and her husband, Richard, of Syracuse, New York, Bonnie Lewis and her husband, Ron, of Elmira, New York and Halle Carey of Clyde; five sons, Ron Carey of Ovieda, Florida, William Carey of Canton, Pat and his wife, Trish Carey, Scott Carey; and Tim Carey and his wife, Lorraine all of Clyde; a sister, Shelley Benjamin of Boca Raton, Florida; a brother, Peter Carey of Bethel; 12 grandchildren; and his dog "Bear." A private family service will be held at a later date.
