Mildred Hill

Myrtle Beach, SC - Mildred Ensley Mauldin-Hill, age 82, formerly of Waynesville, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late William Else and Ethel Jones Ensley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Joseph Hill, who died in 2000; sisters, Margie Deweese and Barbara Ensley; and brothers, Reverend Jerry Ensley, William (Mutt) Ensley, Jr., and Richard Ensley. She retired from Dayco and was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesville. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Kip Goodson, of Myrtle Beach; granddaughter Amber Milner; and great-granddaughter, Ella Horne, of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by sisters, Peggy Sheehan, Betty Cogdill, Shirley Hill, Linda Taylor, all of Waynesville, and Judy Whitley, of Fort Payne, Alabama, and brother, H.P. Ensley, of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Seth Early officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Benny, Bobby and Larry Cogdill, Dennis Early, Gary Hill, Woody Farrell, and Scott and Will Taylor. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
