Lynn Hetherington

Waynesville, Lynn Hetherington, age 41, of Morningview Drive, died on Monday, January 18, 2010 at his residence. Lynn was a native of Haywood County, and the son of Leon Hetherington, of Englewood Florida, and Ethylene Hatfield, of Kings Mountain. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry and Arlene Hetherington and maternal grandfather, Reeves Ledford. Lynn worked for TDX Enterprise as a Truck Driver and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Terria Booher Hetherington; two sons, Scottie and William Hetherington, both of Kings Mountain; one stepson, Billy Wright, of Waynesville; two stepdaughters, Brittny Wright and Bodie Acosta both of Waynesville; maternal grandmother, Flossie Ledford of Waynesville; two sisters, Sheila Cagle and Michelle Leigh; two brothers, David Hetherington and his wife, April, of Canton and Kevin Hatfield and his wife, Vikki, of Kings Mountain; three grandchildren, Colby Messer, Brielle Wright and Kyleigh Acosta and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Ray Sharpe. Burial will follow in Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Haynes, Rick and Jason Schlegel, Scott Simmons, Kevin Pressley, Steve Cagle. Honorary pallbearers will be Robyn Messer and Travis Robinson.
