Louise Feit

June 30, 1909 — March 23, 2008

Waynesville, Louise Scanlon Feit, 98, peacefully went to be with the Lord, Sunday March 23, 2008. She was born in Buffalo, NY and resided in Waynesville for the past 33 years. She had two daughters, and was preceded in death by Celia Miller of Waynesville. Celia's four children are Suzette Henshaw, Adele Wilkins, Stafford Greene, and Lisa Thomason. She is survived by Patricia Cusic of Live Oak, FL and her four children, Colleen Cody, James Cusic III, Eamon Cusic Sr., and Maureen Bentley. She has 22 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grandchildren and one Great niece, Lori Schmitt. Louise also leaves special family & friends, Mary Henigbaum, Jim McElrath, Norm Miville, and her Chestnut Park Home family, Barbara Hannah, Kim, Kathy, Mary, J.J., Taylor, and everyone. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in the Mountains and was active with the Daughters of the King. She was an accomplished artist and a member of the Blue Ridge Watermedia Society. During World War II, she worked at Bendxic Radio as a technologist. She retired from Williams and Wilkins/Waverly Press in Medical Photography Layout. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 28, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in the Mountains, Rev. Dr. Joan Vella officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the parish hall.
