Kenneth Roberts

Kenneth Roberts, age 62, died Thursday, November 13, 2008, at his residence. A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Arnold and Pauline Wilson Roberts. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, Eugene, and Jack Roberts. He retired in 1997 from Eaton Corp and attended Narrow Valley Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Brenda Sanford Roberts; a son Kenneth Maxwell Roberts of Asheville, a daughter, Kimberly Leah Chandler of Asheville, and a step daughter, Traci Sutton of Rutledge, TN; two brothers, J. C. and Gerald Roberts of MI; four grandchildren, Brandon, Brian, Dylan, and Colin Chandler; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Gracie Chandler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack Hipshire and Reverend Tony Sanford officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
