Kathryn Jacobs

Sara Kathryn Jacobs of Hampton Heights died on Wednesday May 4, 2011, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Addie McClure Jacobs. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Jacobs, Jr. She retired from Champion International and was a member of Canton Central United Methodist Church. Kathryn lived a full and wonderful life having loved classical music and traveling the world. She is survived by two nephews, James Baxtor Jacobs of San Francisco, CA and Timothy Charles Jacobs of Webster, NC; a niece, Charlayna Kuykendall of Canton; and their families. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Canton Central United Methodist Church, 34 Church Street, Canton, NC 28716.
