James Green

James Carlyle Green, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Hampton, Virginia, he was the son of Marilyn Kemp Green of Clyde and the late Ransom Matt Green. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Ransom "Tommy" Green, who died in 1992. James attended Clyde Wesleyan Church and was a retired employee of the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Division of Highways. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Margaret Russell and her husband, Ron, of Clyde; a brother, David Green and his wife, Deborah, of Clyde; four nieces; and a nephew. The family will receive friends from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Clyde Wesleyan Church with a memorial dinner prior beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
