Hazel Wells

Canton- Hazel V. Wells, age 70, formerly of the Cruso Community, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at MedWest-Haywood. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rosie Trull Wells. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters and three brothers. Hazel was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Connie Hayes of Port St. Lucie, Florida; a brother, Irvin Wells of Blairsville, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and her caregiver and special friend, Jana Sherrill of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Jack Holland and Reverend Dr. Perry Brindley officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Hazel's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone of the Lifespan family.
