Gregory Kirkpatrick

March 19, 1973 — August 23, 2010

Clyde, Gregory Scott Kirkpatrick, age 37, died on Monday, August 23, 2010 in Newport, Tennessee. He was a native of Haywood County and was the son of Wade and Marie Suttles Kirkpatrick. He was owner/operator of LMK Inc., and enjoyed motorcycles, family and life. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 15 years, Charlotte Mitchell Kirkpatrick, three daughters, Jessica Smith of Clyde, Samantha Smith, Harlee Kirkpatrick and special family member, Lacey Hardin all of the home; two brothers, Michael Kirkpatrick and his wife Kari of Waynesville and Steven Kirkpatrick and his wife Nita of Clyde; one granddaughter, Hannah Sky Noland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes. Reverend Jimmy Moore and Reverend Delbert Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Fines Creek Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Harlee Kirkpatrick Education Fund, C/O Champion Credit Union, 311 Walnut Street, Waynesville, NC 28786.
