Geneva Clark

Geneva Smith Clark, age 83, died Thursday, December 29, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Lumpkin County, Georgia and the daughter of the late Perry E. and Fannie Wiggington Smith. She was a nurse's aide at Haywood County Hospital for 25 years and a member of Rocky Face Baptist Church. In addition to her husband of 66 years, Edgar W. Clark, she is survived by a daughter, Eleen C. Mitchell and her husband, Roger of Waynesville; two sons, Reverend Keith Clark and his wife, Linda of Canton and Terry Wayne Clark and his wife, Paula of Canton; a brother, Roy Smith of Canton; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with the Reverend Keith Clark and Reverend Donnie Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Newfound Road. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the residence of Keith and Linda Clark, 19 Crazy Creek Lane.
