Evelyn Inman

Evelyn Gregory Inman, age 63, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Macon County, she was a daughter of the late Joe Edward and Ellie Woods Gregory. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda James who died in 2002 and three brothers, Donald, Mitchell, and Gordon Gregory. Evelyn was a member of Rocky Face Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert Douglas Inman; one son, Jeff Inman and his wife, Debbie, of Clyde; two daughters, Janice Rhinehart and her husband, Dewayne, and Darla Grasty and her husband, Mike, all of Canton; three sisters, Edna Norris of Greenville, SC, Inez Inman of Bozoo, WV, and Glee Moore of Canton; three brothers, Eugene Gregory of Sylva, Wendell Gregory, and Joe Gregory all of Canton; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Donnie Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Center Pigeon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
