Eugene Phillips

Waynesville-Eugene Phillips, age 67, of 211 Nellie John Drive, died Tuesday, November 16, 2004. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of George Washington Phillips and Viola Romines Phillips. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Elbert and Arvil Phillips. He is survived by two brothers, Arlie Phillips of the White Oak Community and Claude Phillips and his wife, Rita, of Hot Springs, NC. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2004 at the Phillips family cemetery at Cosby, Tennessee with Reverend Greg Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Waynesville.
