Ed Clark

Clyde, Ed Clark, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at MedWest-Haywood. A native of Gardiner, ME, he was the son of the late Glen and Amelia Parker Clark. He was a 1956 graduate of Gardiner High in Gardiner, ME and of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. Ed served six years in the Air Force Reserves. He was an active and lifelong member of the Kiwanis Club in Miami, a member of Toy Makers, makers of toys for children�s hospitals, and a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deanna Donaghy Clark; three sisters, Linda Longfellow, Sharon Westberry, and Jackie Conrad; two brothers, Don and Al Clark; a 95-year old aunt, Ada Goodwin; nine nieces, 3 nephews; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kendall; and a brother-in-law Ron Donaghy and his wife, Sandy. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2011, in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Dr. Myron Rubin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
