Doris Sena

Waynesville, Doris Frey Sena, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at The Homestead. A native of Essex County, New Jersey and former resident of Tallahassee, Florida, she had resided in Haywood County for the past 14 years. She was the daughter of the late William and Viva Kearney Frey and was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael "Mike" Sena, who died in 2012 and three brothers. Doris was a member of St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church. Doris is survived by three daughters, Patti Sena of North East, Maryland, Laura Montgomery and husband, Robert, of Waynesville and Carolyn Gentile and husband, Stephen, of Rexburg, Idaho; a son, Michael Sena, Jr. and wife, Irene, of Tallahassee, Florida; a sister, Vivian Gayder of New Jersey; two brothers, Robert Frey also of New Jersey and Richard Frey of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren, Jamie and Michael Derham, Jennifer Wilmot, and Danielle Lemons, Andrew Sena, Megan Montgomery, Daniel Gentile, Natalie Sena, Caleb, Sarah, Stephen and Elizabeth Gentile and Giana Sena; and 7 great-grandchildren, Kayden Sena, Josephine, Mary and Michael Wilmot, Felix Sena, Levi Lemons and Oliver Sena. Private services were held.
