Dinky was born in Augusta, Georgia and had resided in Haywood County for the past 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Brown Epting. Dinky was dedicated to her work at Haywood County DSS where she catered to those who were less fortunate. She loved to travel, having been fortunate to have lived in Scotland for over a year with her husband Jay. She also enjoyed going to the movies. Dinky deeply loved her family and cherished the time she spent with each of them always putting them first before herself.
