Dale Fish

Waynesville, Dale Fish, age 70, of Sourwood Drive, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Haywood County and the son of Reverend Odie Fish and the late Marguerite Messer Fish. He retired from the Department of Transportation with the State of NC with 28 years service. He was a US Army veteran. Mr. Fish enjoyed gardening, his dogs and wildlife and was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. In addition to his father he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gail Willett Fish; one son, Jeremy Fish, of Waynesville: three sisters, Olene Fish and her husband, Ed, and Jean Fish Fincher all of Clyde and Darlene Fish Williams, and her husband, Hugh, of White Oak; two brothers, Ronald Fish, and his wife, Cecile, of Waynesville and Leonard Fish, and his wife, Nancy, of Clyde and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Greenhill Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Moore officiating. Memorials may be made to Haywood Animal Welfare Association, P.O.
