Coy Reese

Coy Reese, age 85, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Pisgah Manor Nursing Home. A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Jonah H. and Ethel Ball Reese. He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Evelyn Hampton, Mabel Childers, Katherine Rice, and Pearl Jefferson; a twin brother, Foy Reese; and a brother, Howard Reese. He is survived by a special niece, Brenda Hampton of Candler; and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Canton Chapel of Wells funeral Home with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 525 Old 19/23 Highway, Candler, NC 28715.
